Why create this web experience?
During my time as a Digital Content Designer for Ticketleap, I was always looking for ways to optimize the way we worked as a small team of five. Events University—our event organizer resources site—was sprawling and had been created statically before I was hired. Utilizing the dynamic CMS features of Webflow, I designed page templates that could consume old and new resource pages. This allowed our Content Lead to produce content rapidly without the design process becoming a bottleneck, while also giving the site a much needed visual refresh.

In Practice
- Ticketleap, as a product and an organization, focused on empathizing with event organizers and their needs. My designs, and considerations for redesigns, were informed by feedback from our users.
- Utilizing dynamic content allowed the site to mostly run itself after I designed templates. All the Content Leads needed to do was write the content and choose the appropriate template, and then publish!
- This allowed the team to leverage Events University more and free up some bandwidth to continue working on the SEO content that drove our organic growth.

Retrospective
- I was still learning Webflow while I redesigned this site, so there are some things I would do differently today. The latest features notwithstanding, Webflow has always had a strong dynamic CMS and I feel I was only scratching the surface of its capabilities. Today, I am still growing my abilities in Webflow; this portfolio being a great example :)
- While I was able to work with feedback from our users, I would have loved to conduct some interviews or surveys to really get to the core of how the site could provide value to our target users.
